The school license allows you to install DialogOS on up to 20 PCs and may only be used for teaching purposes.

DialogOS combines professional quality speech recogntion and speech synthesis with intuitive dialog design.

Dialog design without programming
The graphical user interface allows even novice users to quickly design professional dialog systems, without the need for extensive programming skills. The visual presentation of dialog flow facilitates the analysis and editing of dialogs.

Professional speech recognition and synthesis
DialogOS includes high quality speech recognition that can reliably recognize singel words and whole sentences. Recognition is speaker independent, no need to adjust the system to your voice first. DialogOS supports simply word patterns as well as complex language models with semantic interpretation.
For speech synthesis DialogOS supports several voices and languages in supreme quality. You just type the text and DialogOS will read it for you:

Talking robots
DialogOS supports controlling Lego Mindstorms robots directly. Within minutes you can build talking robots that react to your voice commmands. Support for other robotics kits will be included in future versions. Besides this, DialogOS has a programming interface that allows you to write drivers for arbitrary devices yourselves.

Using DialogOS, teachers can communicate all aspects of dialog systems without the need to deal with technical problems. This enables students to concentrate on the design aspects. DialogOS has been successfully used in a number of university courses.
